MSMS comes with a ready starting point for India (CBSE style): the class names, terms, subjects, grading and fee categories a typical school uses — so you can have your school set up in minutes instead of typing it all in.
| Stage | Classes |
|---|---|
| Pre-Primary | Nursery, LKG, UKG |
| Primary | Class 1, Class 2, Class 3, Class 4, Class 5 |
| Middle | Class 6, Class 7, Class 8 |
| Secondary | Class 9, Class 10 |
| Senior Secondary | Class 11, Class 12 |
Nursery, LKG, UKG, Primary (Class 1–5), Middle (6–8), Secondary (9–10) and Senior Secondary (11–12, streams as sections). Two terms; the academic year starts in April. Nine-point CBSE grading with internal assessment of 20 %.

The setup is safe to run again: what already exists is left alone and nothing is ever deleted. See how setup and fees work →
Academic Setup includes a starting point for India (CBSE style): 15 classes across 5 stages (Pre-Primary, Primary, Middle, Secondary, Senior Secondary), 2 terms (Term 1, Term 2) and 45 subjects. Everything is editable before you import, so you can match your own school.
It uses A1 (outstanding) down to E2 (needs improvement) with a 20-mark continuous-assessment share by default. You can change the bands and the CA/exam split in Settings.
Parents can pay online with Paystack, Flutterwave or Stripe where those providers support their card or wallet, or pay to the school's mobile-money number or bank account and have the school confirm it. Fees are shown in INR. Check each provider's documentation for the countries and currencies it supports.
It is a starting point built from the country's published school structure. Please check names, terms and grading against your ministry or examination board before relying on it — and edit anything that differs for your school.
